This makes it great for both hot and cool climates, Viscose from bamboo offers built-in temperature control. It traps warm air in its cross-sectional fibers to keep you warm in the winter, while its breathable nature and wicking properties keep moisture at bay for greater comfort in hot times.

Viscose is processed from bamboo through a chemical process, this is why it can no longer be considered Pure Bamboo or organic. It must be called Viscose, as, this was the process used to break down the cells. It is toxic free and safe, although it went through a chemical treatment to become Viscose, it does not contain any harmful chemical substances but is no longer in pure form.
Viscose refers to how the fabric is made. To understand bamboo viscose, we need to understand viscose. Viscose is the generalized term for a regenerated cellulose fiber obtained by the viscose process. The cellulose fiber comes from a plant; it can be eucalyptus, beech, pine, or of course, bamboo. This means viscose is a fabric that is not quite natural, yet not quite synthetic either, but somewhere in between.
